People Power Party's Jeonbuk State Chapter: "Farmers Are Not Experimental Subjects in Farmland Survey"

【Financial News | Jeonju = Kang In, Reporter】 The Jeonbuk State chapter of the People Power Party criticized the government's planned comprehensive survey of all farmland.
The chapter held a press conference at the Jeonbuk State Council on the 30th and denounced the policy, saying, "Farmers are not experimental subjects. The president has no authority to decide the fate of farmers' lives."
It also stressed, "A realistic procedure is urgently needed to legally formalize leases between farmers while protecting cultivators' rights."
The chapter argued, "Those who acquired farmland under false farming plans to seek development profits must be rigorously investigated," adding, "Farmers who entrusted cultivation to neighbors because they could not farm themselves or who inherited farmland from their parents should not be branded as speculators."
