[Financial News] GenstarMate has partnered with AQUILA Commercial (AQUILA), a commercial real estate firm based in Austin, Texas, to expand real estate advisory services for Korean companies entering the U.S.
According to investment banking industry sources on the 30th, GenstarMate signed a memorandum of understanding with AQUILA Commercial on real estate advisory services and mutual cooperation for Korean and international companies. During a conference call held that day, the two companies discussed specific ways to cooperate, including identifying real estate demand from Korean companies entering the U.S. and advising them on available local properties.
The agreement comes as demand for real estate advice on local offices and logistics facilities has grown alongside the expansion of Korean companies into the U.S. GenstarMate has been seeking to broaden cooperation with local real estate firms that possess in-depth knowledge of regional markets and networks in order to respond more effectively to overseas real estate demand.
GenstarMate selected Austin, Texas, as its first target area for cooperation. Samsung Electronics operates a semiconductor production facility in Austin, while large-scale investment in a new semiconductor production facility is under way in nearby Taylor, Texas. As a result, real estate demand from Korean companies and their partners in the area is expected to increase.
AQUILA Commercial is a commercial real estate firm based in Austin, Texas. It specializes in logistics centers and office properties, offering comprehensive services including tenant advisory, leasing marketing and property management. The company is regarded as having a strong understanding of the Austin market and a solid local network.
The two companies plan to initially focus their cooperation on leasing advisory services for Korean companies entering the U.S. GenstarMate will identify its Korean clients' local real estate needs and requirements, while AQUILA will provide market information and suitable property listings in Austin and surrounding areas. This will allow clients to receive advice on the local real estate market and available properties from the early stages of their overseas expansion.
Beginning with this agreement, GenstarMate plans to gradually expand partnerships with local real estate firms in major U.S. regions, Europe and other markets where Korean companies have strong expansion demand.
Kwon Tae-hwan, head of GenstarMate's R&C division, emphasized, "As demand from Korean companies for overseas real estate continues to grow, collaboration with local partners that understand their markets well is becoming increasingly important. Starting with our cooperation with AQUILA, we will expand our network in major overseas markets and serve as a bridge connecting Korean companies with the real estate services they need to expand abroad."
