[Financial News] Dong-A University said on the 30th that it had signed a tripartite memorandum of understanding with the Embassy of Pakistan in Korea and STS Robotech on the 29th at the main conference room of Seunghak Campus. The agreement aims to attract outstanding Pakistani talent and support their education, employment, and settlement in the region.
The agreement was designed to establish an industry–academia–government cooperation framework that identifies and recruits outstanding engineering and IT talent from Pakistan, provides systematic education and hands-on industrial experience, and connects graduates with jobs at regional companies and stable settlement in the region.
Key provisions include identifying outstanding Pakistani students and supporting their study in Korea; operating degree programs, including Korean-language education and dual-degree programs; matching students with industrial internships and jobs at regional companies; and creating an environment for long-term settlement in connection with region-specific visas.
Dong-A University will provide comprehensive support for international students, including intensive Korean-language education and Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK) preparation programs, as well as systematic assistance with their studies, daily lives, and adjustment to Korea.
The Embassy of Pakistan in Korea will support the identification of outstanding talent in Pakistan, study-abroad opportunities, and expanded educational and people-to-people exchanges between the two countries. STS Robotech will cooperate in expanding industry-linked internships and employment opportunities.
President Lee Hae-woo said, "Dong-A University is carefully creating a campus that respects diverse cultures and religions. We will actively support Pakistani students so that this agreement becomes a model of a virtuous cycle leading from study abroad to employment and settlement in the region."
