Ryu Seung-min: "As the administration crawls between Kim Jong Un's legs, Kim Yo Jong is brazenly turning the blame on others"

[Financial News] Kim Yo Jong, chief of the General Affairs Department of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), claimed that the landmine explosion in the western sector of the Korean Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) was "a self-staged clown show in Seoul" and completely denied North Korea's responsibility. In response, former lawmaker Ryu Seung-min sharply criticized her, saying, "Because this administration crawls between Kim Jong Un's legs, an emboldened Kim Yo Jong is finally brazenly turning the blame on others."
On the 30th, Ryu Seung-min wrote on Facebook, "It has been revealed that the DMZ landmine explosion was a North Korean provocation," adding, "It was something that could have been fully predicted from the start through common sense and experience."
He continued, "Even though the truth has been established, President Lee Jae Myung belatedly says, 'We will promptly investigate, uncover the truth, and take measures based on the findings,'" criticizing the remark as "completely out of touch."
He added, "There is not a word anywhere about North Korea's provocation, demanding that it acknowledge responsibility and apologize, its violation of the Korean Armistice Agreement, or punishment for North Korea. This is why the administration has no choice but to face suspicions that it is catering to North Korea."
Ryu said, "Our soldiers shed blood because of North Korea's provocation, yet instead of retaliating decisively, the government says it is 'fanning baseless conspiracy theories.' The people are worried about whether this administration has even the slightest intention of protecting national security because the commander-in-chief of South Korea's armed forces is constantly looking over his shoulder for Kim Jong Un's reaction and taking an endlessly deferential stance."
He continued, "The chair of the National Defense Committee of the National Assembly says, 'It is difficult to conclude that the mines were planted with the intent of injuring our military,'" adding, "I truly cannot understand why Democratic Party members defend North Korea and cater to it."
Ryu said, "President Lee Jae Myung must personally answer what decisive retaliatory measures he will take against North Korea for attacking our military with a landmine provocation, and what measures will make North Korea pay a harsh price. Why is a president who angrily lashed out at the Ukrainian president over breaking a confidential promise concerning the repatriation of North Korean prisoners of war unable to utter a single word to North Korea, which injured our troops?"
He added, "Tomorrow is October 1, Armed Forces Day. The entire nation will be watching how the commander-in-chief of the armed forces acts."
Earlier, the Republic of Korea Joint Chiefs of Staff (ROK JCS) released interim investigation findings on the explosion that occurred in the DMZ on the 21st, saying it was highly likely to have been caused by a North Korean military landmine. It warned that it would take 'corresponding measures' if the incident was ultimately determined to have been caused by a landmine planted by North Korea.
On the 29th, Kim Yo Jong issued a statement titled 'The perpetrators of the provocation must prepare to pay the price for their self-staged clown show,' claiming, "This incident is an obvious self-staged act that bears an exact resemblance, in the timing and method of the provocation, to the 'wooden-box land-mine incident' that caused turmoil more than a decade ago." She then threatened, "If South Korean military thugs fire live rounds rather than warning shots at our soldiers, our border units will immediately and ruthlessly retaliate."
