[Financial News] Korea Blockchain Week 2026 (KBW 2026), Asia's largest Web3 event, opened on September 30.
The main conference of KBW2026 with Upbit kicked off that day at WALKERHILL HOTELS & RESORTS in Seoul.
Park Wi-ik, representative of FACTBLOCK, said, "Financial investment firms are joining the blockchain industry that developers and consumers have nurtured." He added, "Although each country differs in the starting point and pace of its blockchain policy, KBW will become a global hub for blockchain policy."
A total of 28,000 people attended KBW2025:IMPACT last year, with foreign attendees accounting for 35%. In particular, the main conference, Impact (KBW2025:IMPACT), will be renamed KBW 2026 starting this year and is expected to rank alongside the U.S. Consumer Electronics Show (CES) and Spain's Mobile World Congress (MWC).
