[Financial News] Daekyo Edu Camp is expanding a tailored speech-language therapy support program for students with delayed language development in the region by partnering with the Yeoncheon Office of Education in Gyeonggi Province. The initiative aims to narrow the education welfare gap between regions by combining private-sector specialized education services with public support in a border area where access to specialized treatment has been limited due to its geographic conditions. Daekyo Edu Camp said on the 30th that it had signed an agreement with the Yeoncheon Office of Education to strengthen individualized speech-language therapy support for students eligible for special education and slow learners enrolled in kindergartens, elementary schools and middle schools in Yeoncheon.
Under the agreement, Daekyo Edu Camp will dispatch speech-language pathologists and other specialists to schools in Yeoncheon or provide one-on-one, tailored speech-language therapy and assessment services through designated centers. Rather than limiting support to short-term treatment, the program will implement a long-term care process that reflects each student's emotional needs and developmental stage.
The program is expected to significantly improve access to education for students in Yeoncheon who have struggled to receive specialized speech-language therapy because of geographic barriers. It will operate through public-private cooperation: the Yeoncheon Office of Education will lay the groundwork through administrative support and the identification of eligible students, while Daekyo Edu Camp will provide proven therapy programs and specialized personnel.
In addition to speech-language therapy for students, Daekyo Edu Camp plans to offer counseling for parents and guardians as well as teacher training programs. The company aims to establish a comprehensive education care network linking homes and schools.
A Daekyo Edu Camp official said, "The more underserved a rural area is, the greater the demand for specialized treatment and emotional support." The official added, "Starting with our cooperation with the Yeoncheon Office of Education, we will continue expanding tailored education support programs so that slow learners and students eligible for special education can grow and develop properly."
