"The Entire City Will Be Buzzing with Festivities" Busan Metropolitan City Government to Link 22 October Events into One

[Financial News] Busan will be buzzing with festivals across the city this October.
Busan Metropolitan City Government and Busan Tourism Organization (BTO) announced on the 30th that they will hold 2026 Festival October across Busan from October 1 to 31.
Festival October is an integrated festival project designed to connect various cultural, tourism and MICE events held throughout Busan in October under a single brand, allowing domestic and international visitors to enjoy a range of events and stay longer in the city.
This year, 22 events will be held across three categories—music and culture, film and the arts, and business and innovation—under the slogan "When You Go to Busan in October."
A range of events spanning performances, culture, the arts, food, festivals and industry will be held, centered on the Busan International Rock Festival, Busan International Film Festival (BIFF), and FLY ASIA, the flagship events in each category.
Busan Metropolitan City Government and BTO will operate a joint promotional hub for Festival October at the Busan Eurasia Platform from October 1 to 18. The hub will provide visitors with comprehensive information about Festival October and offer a variety of interactive content and events to encourage participation in individual programs.
In particular, a stamp tour linking the main event venues will be operated so visitors can explore venues across Busan. Participants can scan QR codes at the main venues to earn stamps and receive rewards and prizes based on the number of stamps collected.
This year, integrated online and offline promotion will also be expanded. Event schedules, themed content and short-form videos will be presented through the Visit Busan website, the city's tourism portal, and social media (SNS) to promote Festival October to domestic and international visitors.
Detailed information about the events is available on the Visit Busan website, the Busan tourism portal.
