KT launches 10th cohort of AIVLE School with 840 hours of AX training over six months

[Financial News] KT will provide about 250 young people with a total of 840 hours of practical AI transformation (AX) training over six months. The program will cover everything from AI technology education and projects that address real-world industrial challenges to certification exams and employment support, with the goal of developing AX professionals sought by companies.
KT announced on the 30th that it had held an online orientation ceremony on the 29th for about 250 trainees in the 10th cohort of KT AIVLE School and officially begun the program.
AIVLE School is a practical, corporate-oriented training program that KT operates with the Ministry of Employment and Labor for young people preparing for employment. Since launching the program in 2021, KT has produced about 4,000 graduates. They have gone on to work at more than 500 companies in various roles, including AI development and data analysis as well as sales, marketing and planning.
Over the next six months, the 10th-cohort trainees will receive a total of 840 hours of AX training, eight hours a day. The program provides live classes through KT's own online education platform, along with one-on-one tutoring tailored to each trainee's learning level and assignment performance.
The training centers on project-based learning (PBL) to solve problems in real-world industrial settings. Trainees identify problems themselves, analyze data, design solutions and then turn them into services using AI and digital technologies. KT's current employees also participate in the projects, providing practical coaching from both technical and business perspectives.
The program also offers support to enhance trainees' competitiveness in the job market. It provides opportunities to earn certifications, including the Artificial Intelligence Competency Examination (AICE), a nationally recognized AI competency certification. After the training and projects are completed, KT will run a recruitment-linked program connecting trainees with corporate hiring managers, along with employment support.
