[Financial News] APR donated in-kind goods worth KRW 2.4 billion to support vulnerable groups in South Korea and abroad.
APR said on the 30th that the donated goods were delivered to organizations in South Korea and overseas through the Community Chest of Korea. The donation included APR clothing products, among other items.
In South Korea, the goods were prioritized for single-parent and single-mother households through social welfare facilities serving women and community welfare centers. Overseas, the in-kind goods will be distributed through agencies in regions requiring support, including Mongolia and Malawi.
APR has continued its social contribution activities since 2016 to support marginalized groups and disaster victims. It has expanded its support to include helping single-parent families achieve self-reliance, covering medical expenses for children from vulnerable groups, and providing donations for disaster recovery. The company provides support tailored to beneficiaries and circumstances through both cash and in-kind donations.
Including this donation, APR's cumulative social contributions have exceeded KRW 13 billion. An APR official said, "We will continue sharing with neighbors in need through a variety of social contribution activities."
