[Financial News] Kurly is expanding its cooperation with Amorepacific to include exclusive product development and joint marketing.
According to industry sources on the 30th, Kurly signed a business agreement (JBP) with Amorepacific the previous day to establish a strategic partnership. The signing ceremony was attended by key officials from both companies, including Miri Kim, head of Kurly's Beauty Division; Lee Gippeum, head of the Beauty Product Group; Kim Kyung-yeon, vice president of Amorepacific and head of its E-commerce Unit; and Lee Hyun-gi, head of E-commerce Sales Team 4.
Under the agreement, the two companies will jointly develop 'Kurly Only,' an exclusive product for Beauty Kurly customers. Beauty Kurly merchandisers (MDs) will participate from the initial product-planning stage, combining Kurly's expertise in product planning with Amorepacific's technological capabilities to introduce new products.
They will also expand customer benefits through joint marketing and promotions while working together to develop new categories.
Beauty Kurly currently carries Amorepacific's flagship brands Sulwhasoo and HERA, along with derma brand AESTURA and ILLIYOON. The two companies also plan to strengthen cooperation with the existing brands on the platform following the agreement.
Miri Kim, head of Kurly's Beauty Division, said, "Through our partnership with Amorepacific, we can now offer Beauty Kurly customers even more special and differentiated products and benefits. By combining the core capabilities of both companies, we plan to further strengthen our competitiveness in the beauty market."
