Samsung Electronics Ranks No. 1 in Nine Categories in 2026 KCSI Evaluation

[Financial News] Samsung Electronics said on the 30th that it had earned the most No. 1 rankings for the 25th consecutive year in the '2026 Korean Customer Satisfaction Index (KCSI)' survey. In particular, Samsung Electronics ranked No. 1 in nine categories, the most among all participating companies.
KCSI is a survey that evaluates customer satisfaction with products and services across major domestic industries. It measures satisfaction levels by industry by examining overall satisfaction and willingness to repurchase.
This year's survey covered 455 companies across 122 industries. Samsung Electronics ranked No. 1 in the TV and mobile phone categories for the 29th consecutive year. It also maintained its No. 1 position in the PC category for 25 consecutive years and in the refrigerator and washing machine categories for 17 consecutive years, solidifying its standing as a leading home appliance and information technology (IT) company.
Samsung Electronics, which ranked No. 1 in the TV category for the 29th consecutive year, significantly expanded its premium lineup this year, including Micro RGB, Neo QLED, OLED, and Mini LED. Through its 'Vision AI Companion,' the company independently understands the context of TV content and user questions to provide tailored information.
It also ranked No. 1 in the mobile phone category for the 29th consecutive year.
Samsung Electronics is leading the mobile market with the Samsung Galaxy S26 series, introduced this year, and the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip series, which have driven innovation in new form factors. Its more sophisticated Galaxy AI features received high marks, including 'Now Brief,' which provides personalized information based on users' daily lives and interests, and 'Now Nudge,' which identifies users' situations and context and offers timely guidance—such as registering schedules or saving locations—to help them naturally move on to their next actions.
In the PC category, where it ranked No. 1 for the 25th consecutive year, Samsung Electronics received favorable reviews for the strong performance of the Samsung Galaxy Book6 Series, including the 'Galaxy Ecosystem,' which enables seamless connectivity among smartphones, tablets, and PCs, as well as its long battery life and improved display visibility.
Samsung Electronics also swept the top spot in six home appliance categories: refrigerators, kimchi refrigerators, air conditioners, washing machines, dryers, and cordless stick vacuum cleaners.
The refrigerator and washing machine categories ranked No. 1 for the 17th consecutive year, while the kimchi refrigerator category achieved 16 consecutive years and the air conditioner category 14 consecutive years. These results demonstrated that Samsung Electronics has established itself over many years as the brand most trusted by consumers. It also extended its winning streaks in the cordless stick vacuum cleaner and dryer categories to six and five consecutive years, respectively.
