[Financial News] Fashion platform W Concept is targeting global markets by opening a pop-up store in Paris, France, following its New York event.
W Concept said on the 30th that it will operate the pop-up near Paris's Marais district for two weeks through October 12. The event will span approximately 350 square meters and coincide with Paris Fashion Week.
Seventy-five K-fashion and beauty brands, including Frontrow, KIMHEKIM, MINJUKIM, EENK, MONOROW, IvanaHelsinki, Kith and AMUSE, will participate in the event. It will also feature 10 brands selected for W Concept's emerging-brand development program, W Stage, including HOWTOLOVEME, Epoise, LVDWY, Demeriel and THIS IS FINE.
W Concept previously operated a pop-up store in New York from the 10th through the 23rd during New York Fashion Week (NYFW). Some 90 fashion and beauty brands, including Korean designer labels, participated.
The New York pop-up also drove online sales growth. During the event, visits to the W Concept global mall app and the number of new subscribers rose 453% and 51%, respectively, from the same period a year earlier. Orders increased 27%, while transaction value climbed 16%.
The Paris pop-up is being held as part of the Ministry of Trade and Industry and Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA)'s 2026 Overseas Expansion Support Program for Distribution Companies. W Concept joined the program by forming a consortium with Shinsegae Department Store.
A W Concept official said, "Following New York, we plan to expand our points of contact with global customers through the Paris pop-up and actively support the overseas expansion of K-brands."
