[Financial News]  A video showing elderly residents stopping a bus traveling along a rural road to give the driver pears and eggplants they grew themselves has gone viral online.
On the 17th, a bus driver identified only as A posted a video on social media with the caption, "This is really something today. They're not stopping the bus to get on. A drive-through before the holiday? I'll enjoy these and come back."
The video shows a bus stopping on a narrow country road after an elderly man standing by the roadside waved it down. The man boarded the bus and said, "Try this. Isn't it something?" before handing the driver a pear he had harvested himself.
The elderly man handed over the pear, saying, "There is nothing like this. The pear's skin is really thick, and it is very tasty." The driver replied, "Thank you. I'll enjoy it." The man then got off the bus and headed back to his field.
A short while later, another elderly man waved toward the bus. When it stopped, he boarded and handed the driver a black plastic bag.
The man handed over eggplants he had grown himself, saying, "Here, some eggplants. Make side dishes with them."
The driver accepted the eggplants and said, "Thank you. You're giving me so many. I'll enjoy them." The elderly man then got off the bus.
