[Breaking] Kim Yo Jong Denies Responsibility for Korean Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) Mine Explosion, Calls It "A Self-Staged Farce by Seoul's Clowns"; Categorically Denies Armistice Violation

[Financial News] Kim Yo Jong, director of the WPK General Affairs Department, categorically denied the South Korean military's preliminary findings that North Korea was responsible for a mine explosion in the western-front DMZ. On the 30th, Kim called the findings "a self-staged farce by Seoul's clowns" and warned, "If even a single bullet lands, we will respond with merciless retaliation." 
North Korea appears to have issued the categorical denial in anticipation of the South Korean military jointly lodging a protest with the United Nations Command (UNC) over an alleged violation of the Armistice Agreement.
Defense Minister Kang Shin-chul and the military leadership attended the previous day's plenary meeting of the National Defense Committee of the National Assembly and reported that three of the four North Korean mines discovered were found south of the Military Demarcation Line (MDL), constituting a violation of the Armistice Agreement.
Kang also said that corresponding measures would be taken in response to North Korea's violation of the Armistice Agreement. Kim Yo Jong's denial came one day after the South Korean military reported its preliminary findings to the National Assembly. It came 10 days after the incident occurred on the 21st.
