[Breaking News] Kim Yo Jong Categorically Denies Responsibility for DMZ Mine Blast, Calls It "a Self-Staged Farce by Seoul's Clowns"

[Financial News] Kim Yo Jong, head of the General Affairs Department of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), categorically denied the South Korean military's preliminary finding that North Korea was responsible for a mine blast in the western front section of the Korean Demilitarized Zone (DMZ). On the 30th, Kim denounced the military's preliminary findings as "a self-staged farce by Seoul's clowns."
The previous day, Defense Minister Kang Shin-chul and the country's military leaders appeared at a full meeting of the National Defense Committee of the National Assembly. They reported that three of four North Korean mines had been found south of the Military Demarcation Line (MDL), constituting a violation of the Armistice Agreement. Kang also said preparations were underway for corresponding measures in response to North Korea's violation.
