Nonghyup Bank Holds 'Resource Circulation in My Drawer' Campaign with Employees to Practice ESG Management

[Financial News] Nonghyup Bank has begun recycling discarded electrical and electronic products that had been sitting unused in employees' homes and offices.
On the 29th, Nonghyup Bank announced that it had held the 'Resource Circulation in My Drawer' campaign at its headquarters in Jung District, Seoul, to promote a culture of resource circulation in employees' daily lives and practice environmental, social and governance (ESG) management.
The campaign was organized to encourage employees to voluntarily dispose of discarded electrical and electronic products kept at home or in the office and participate in resource circulation. A collection booth was installed on the first floor of Nonghyup Bank's headquarters, drawing continued participation from employees. The collected products will be recycled in an environmentally friendly manner in partnership with e-Sunhwan Governance.
Lim Se-bin, senior executive vice president of Nonghyup Bank, said, "I hope this event will serve as an opportunity for employees to practice resource circulation in their daily lives." He added, "We will continue to carry out practical activities for sustainable management in various areas, including resource circulation and environmental protection, as well as a range of ESG activities that employees can undertake together." 
Meanwhile, Nonghyup Bank has continued its resource-circulation efforts, including disposing of and recycling obsolete PCs in partnership with e-Sunhwan Governance last year. Through these efforts, a total of 8,753 kilograms of discarded electrical and electronic products were put into resource circulation.
