HyVISION SYSTEM Signs New Equipment Supply Contracts with Celltrion Pharm and Genewel

[Financial News] HyVISION SYSTEM is expanding its pharmaceutical and biotechnology inspection and automation equipment business by securing Celltrion Pharm and Genewel as new customers.
The company is broadening its business scope by increasing the supply of equipment optimized for each customer's production process, based on its accumulated vision inspection technology from the camera module business.
HyVISION SYSTEM announced on the 29th that it had signed a contract with Celltrion Pharm to supply Linester, automation equipment for the prefilled syringe (PFS) production process. It also signed a contract with Genewel to supply dedicated foreign-material inspection equipment for the production process of the wound dressing Mediform.
Linester is an automated system that arranges inspected syringes in a uniform configuration and places them in a dedicated container called a tub. The key feature of this contract is that the equipment was designed and developed in-house to match the customer's process and equipment specifications, allowing it to interface with the imported inspection equipment already installed.
According to the company, the contract is significant because it involved implementing with domestic technology equipment that foreign suppliers had found difficult to manufacture and supply separately.
The equipment to be supplied to Genewel is an automated foreign-material inspection system optimized for Mediform's product characteristics and production process. It is scheduled to be installed and operated at Genewel's new plant under construction in Wonju Enterprise City in Gangwon Province.
HyVISION SYSTEM expects its customized inspection technology, which considers the characteristics of each product, to help expand the scope of its cooperation with customers in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors.
HyVISION SYSTEM entered the pharmaceutical and biotechnology inspection equipment market in 2024, leveraging advanced vision inspection technology accumulated through more than 20 years in the camera module business.
Beginning with collaboration and research and development with PharmaResearch, the company has strengthened its lineup of customer-focused inspection and automation equipment through continuous technology development and participation in global pharmaceutical and biotechnology trade fairs.
The company recently completed development of foreign-material inspection equipment for vials and is also wrapping up development of a high-voltage leak detection (HVLD) solution, expanding its technological capabilities in the inspection of injectable products.
Going forward, it plans to gradually expand its product coverage beyond syringes and vials to include cartridges and ampoules, responding to demand for a wider range of injectable production equipment.
