National Human Resources Development Institute, Korea Legislation Research Institute Join Hands to Jointly Develop Legal Education for Civil Servants

[Financial News]  The National Human Resources Development Institute and the Korea Legislation Research Institute will jointly develop legal education programs for civil servants and deploy specialists in legislation and legal policy in educational settings.
The National Human Resources Development Institute said on the 29th that it would sign a memorandum of understanding with the Korea Legislation Research Institute to cooperate in education and research on legislation.
Under the agreement, the two institutions will jointly develop and operate specialized education programs on legislation. They also agreed to use specialists in legislation and legal policy as lecturers and share information and materials related to legal education and human resources development. 
The National Human Resources Development Institute plans to use the research achievements and specialists of the policy research institute specializing in legislation for civil servant education, thereby improving public officials' understanding of laws and institutions.
Im Chae-won, president of the National Human Resources Development Institute, said, "We plan to apply the Korea Legislation Research Institute's accumulated research achievements in specialized legislation to civil servant education and foster public officials who can proactively respond to the changing legislative environment."
