Nam District, Busan: "We Thoroughly Reviewed the Ninth Elected Term's Pledges Through Residents' Eyes"

[Financial News] Nam District, Busan announced on the 29th that the 2026 Resident Jury Panel, which it operated to gather residents' opinions on the district mayor's pledge implementation plan for the ninth elected term, had concluded its activities with its third meeting on the 28th.
The Resident Jury Panel was composed of 35 Nam District residents aged 18 or older, selected through an automated response system (ARS), online open recruitment, and telephone interviews. Since August 31, the panel had held three meetings to deliberate on the district mayor's pledge implementation plan for the ninth elected term.
A total of 20 items were reviewed. All four proposed pledge adjustments were approved following deliberation by the panel. For the remaining 16 pledge implementation evaluation items, the panel reviewed the direction and details of each project and offered recommendations.
Nam District, Busan will review the Resident Jury Panel's deliberation results and recommendations, finalize the pledge implementation plan, and publish it on the Nam District Office website in October.
Park Jae-beom, mayor of Nam District, said, "As the ninth elected term's pledges are promises made to residents, we will faithfully reflect the Resident Jury Panel's opinions," adding, "We will do our utmost to ensure that this leads to pledge implementation that residents can truly feel."
