KT Estate to Supply Youth Safe Housing 'Remarkville Mapo'; Applications Open Oct. 1

[FINANCIAL NEWS] KT Estate will supply Remarkville Mapo, the 11th site under its corporate rental housing brand Remarkville, which is designed to provide housing stability for young people and newlywed couples in Seoul.
KT Estate announced on the 29th that applications for Remarkville Mapo, located in Yeomni-dong, Mapo District, Seoul, will be accepted from Oct. 1 to 4. The Youth Safe Housing complex has up to 16 floors and 499 units. It will be supplied through a REIT operated by Mastern Investment Management, while KT Living, a company specializing in rental housing operations and management, will manage the complex.
The supply consists of 86 units for special allocation and 339 units for general allocation, targeting young people and newlywed couples. Applications can be submitted through the official Remarkville Mapo website. Move-ins are expected to begin in late October following the announcement of successful applicants and the signing of contracts.
The complex's greatest advantage is its excellent transportation access. It is located just a five-minute walk from Exit 2 of Daeheung Station on Subway Line 6, offering a highly convenient station-area location. Gongdeok Station, served by Lines 5 and 6, the Airport Railroad and the Gyeongui-Jungang Line, is also within walking distance. This makes commuting to Seoul's major business districts, including Yeouido (YBD), Gwanghwamun (CBD) and Yongsan District, highly convenient.
The surrounding environment and residential convenience are also notable. Leisure spaces such as Gyeongui Line Forest Park and Mangwon Hangang Park are nearby. The complex is also close to major universities, including Sogang University, Yonsei University, Ewha Womans University and Hongik University, giving it access to strong rental demand from university students and young people. The housing types consist mainly of one-room and one-and-a-half-room units, offering more usable space than typical small residential properties and featuring pantry areas to maximize space efficiency.
In particular, the complex will include exclusive resident community facilities spanning approximately 250 pyeong, comparable to those found in apartment complexes. A fitness center, yoga room, book café, multipurpose room, cafeteria and coin-operated laundry room will be provided to support residents' exercise, relaxation and self-development. The complex will also offer reasonable rental terms compared with surrounding market rates, along with a deposit conversion system that allows residents to adjust the balance between their security deposit and monthly rent according to their financial circumstances.
