Musinsa Standard Enters the Wellness Wear Market, Launches 'Recovery' Collection

[Financial News] Musinsa Standard is entering the wellness wear market.
According to MUSINSA on the 29th, Musinsa Standard will introduce its 'Recovery Collection,' which uses MEDIQTM, a functional material co-developed with global textile company Hyosung TNC. The collection was designed in response to lifestyle changes among young consumers who view rest and recharging as important parts of their daily lives.
The collection consists of loungewear that combines minimalist design with practicality. It uses functional yarn containing ceramic components that emit far-infrared radiation. Its far-infrared radiation performance was certified through testing by the Korea Far Infrared Association (KFIA).
A cotton and modal blend was used to provide a soft feel, moisture absorption and breathability. The garments also feature a triple-layer structure that creates fine air pockets inside the fabric.
The collection centers on mix-and-match sets, including hooded zip-up jackets, short-sleeved T-shirts, pants and five-inch shorts. Prices range from 29,900 won to 69,900 won, and the items are available through the MUSINSA online store.
A Musinsa Standard representative said, "We collaborated from the yarn development stage to create suitable materials, then added Musinsa Standard's distinctive designs and construction. We will lead the wellness wear market, which has strong growth potential."
