LS Cable & System Unveils New Products for AI Data Centers, Expands Business into Server Racks

[Financial News] LS Cable & System is expanding its business into server racks by unveiling new power equipment for artificial intelligence (AI) data centers.
LS Cable & System announced on the 29th that it will participate in Data Centre World Asia 2026, held in Singapore from the 29th to the 30th of this month, together with LS Materials, and unveil busbars and connectors for server racks. The two products are used to distribute and connect power inside server racks.
LS Cable & System has expanded its portfolio from bus ducts, which deliver large amounts of power to areas near server racks, to products installed inside the racks. Through this expansion, the company aims to build a "From Grid to Rack" solution covering the entire power network, from AI data centers to server racks. In other words, its product lineup now covers not only the section that supplies power to data centers but also the final stage through which power reaches server equipment.
Alongside its power products, LS Cable & System will also exhibit optical communications and power stabilization solutions. Its optical cables are used to connect data centers and transmit ultra-high-speed, high-capacity data between internal servers and equipment. As AI workloads increase and data traffic grows, the importance of high-capacity optical communications infrastructure is also rising.
LS Materials will showcase ultracapacitors (UCs). UCs are energy storage devices that respond to momentary power fluctuations in AI data centers and support a stable power supply.
The company will also introduce DC bus ducts and superconducting power systems designed for high-density AI data centers. These technologies are intended to supply large amounts of power within limited spaces.
LS Cable & System has expanded its bus duct business in cooperation with Gaon Cable, focusing on the North American AI data center market. With the launch of its busbars and connectors, the company plans to extend its product lineup into server racks and strengthen its push into the AI data center power infrastructure market.
