“Zero Shipping Fees for Karrot Instant Buy” ... ‘Karrot Day’ to Be Held on Oct. 10

[Financial News] Karrot will hold Karrot Day, the year's biggest secondhand trading event, on Oct. 10. The company plans to promote secondhand transactions among neighbors by offering various benefits, including free shipping for Karrot Instant Buy items.
According to industry sources on the 29th, the first Karrot Day will cover the full shipping cost for up to five Karrot Instant Buy purchases per person. The benefit will be applied automatically at checkout, without requiring users to download or select a separate coupon. Customers nationwide, including those in Jeju and remote island and mountain regions, can receive the same benefit without regional surcharges.
Karrot Instant Buy is a parcel-based trading service introduced last September. Powered by secure payment, it allows users to complete the entire process—from payment to delivery—in one place. CJ Logistics handles the deliveries: sellers schedule a pickup date, package the item, and leave it at their door, after which a courier collects it and delivers it to the buyer's preferred location. Since the service was expanded nationwide in March, transaction volume has recorded double-digit growth every month.
Karrot will also randomly select 260 users who make their first purchase through Karrot Instant Buy on Oct. 10 and award them up to 50,000 Karrot Points.
Ahead of Karrot Day, preliminary events for buyers and sellers will begin on the 30th. In the buyer event, users who share the Karrot Day promotional link with acquaintances by Oct. 9 will enter a drawing to receive Karrot's official merchandise brand, Karrot Made, products such as sun-and-rain umbrellas and chewy balls, along with Karrot Points. A total of 500 winners will be selected. In the seller event, 500 users who post Karrot Instant Buy listings from Oct. 3 to 9 will receive limited-edition Karrot tape merchandise for use in parcel packaging.
A Karrot representative said, "Starting this year, we plan to develop it into a signature secondhand trading event that people look forward to every year."
