Anyone Can Create and Sell Games with AI... ONE Store Opens Dedicated Section

[Financial News] ONE Store is opening registrations for games created with artificial intelligence (AI) tools to all developers. Individuals and small development teams will also be able to showcase their games through ONE Store and generate revenue through in-app purchases and advertising.
ONE Store said on the 29th that it is accepting AI game registrations through its developer center, 'ONEconsole.' The move expands eligibility for the 'AI Games' section, which was launched in August, to all developers.
Developers who disclose their use of AI when registering a game will be eligible for promotion in the dedicated section. ONE Store plans to prioritize highly polished games among the submitted titles. It will initially support web games (HTML5), which can be played without installation. By integrating the ONE Store web game development kit (SDK), developers can add in-app purchases and in-app advertising.
In early next month, the section will be renamed 'AI Games' and placed in the bottom menu of the ONE Store app. It will feature games from Verse8, its existing curation partner, alongside games newly registered by developers.
Jang Hyun-guk, CEO of ONE Store, said, "Fun AI games are rapidly increasing as AI models advance." He added, "ONE Store will become a mobile distribution platform for AI games." ONE Store plans to gradually expand its service region overseas, starting with South Korea.
