Kim Eo-jun to President Lee Jae-myung: "The Time for Love Is Over; Ours Is a Friendship"

[Financial News] Broadcaster Kim Eo-jun, who has positioned himself as an ally of President Lee Jae-myung, indicated that he would shift from wholehearted support to critical support, saying, "The time for love is over."
Kim said this on the 28th during his YouTube broadcast, "Kim Eo-jun's News Factory: Humility Is Hard," remarking, "I watched President Lee's press conference addressed to the nation on the 18th several times."
He said, "During the insurrection—the illegal declaration of martial law on December 3, 2024—and the presidential election, I seem to have worried about President Lee as if he were part of my own body, and even more than I worried about myself. I cannot return to the days when I took care of him that way."
Kim declared, "The time for that kind of love is over," and then asked rhetorically, "Is there no relationship other than becoming indifferent, or going further and disliking or hating one another? Could there be a friendship?"
He added, "To maintain a friendship and a comradely relationship with President Lee Jae-myung, I should play whatever role I can."
Kim also challenged President Lee's remarks about reform. The president had suggested that making reform more explicit could provoke greater resistance, causing the reforms to be delayed or fail. Kim responded, "There are many such cases, but there are also cases to the contrary—cases in which people were so cautious that they missed both the timing and public opinion and ultimately failed."
Kim criticized him, saying, "Reaching the presidency after serving as Mayor of Seongnam, governor, lawmaker and party leader is his own way, and because that has been his formula for success, I don't think he will change that stubbornness and conviction. If so, from now on, he—not someone else—must explain it clearly in his own words." 
Kim also argued that President Lee appeared to be relieving some of his political stress through social networking services (SNS) and warned him to be wary of algorithms. He emphasized, "If this loop is completed by manipulation accounts, you become trapped in an algorithmic prison without realizing it. Recently, such manipulation has been heavily focused on President Lee Jae-myung. He should have someone conduct a comprehensive examination of the accounts, and at the same time, he should write only new posts rather than retweet."
