Busan Metropolitan City Government Holds Industry-Academia-Linked Field Training Event to Foster Field-Ready Talent

[Financial News] Busan Metropolitan City Government is organizing an opportunity for local university students and young people to engage directly with employees of leading local companies to strengthen their job-seeking skills. 
The city will hold the Industry-Academia-Linked Field Training Bridge Week from the 29th through the first of the following month.
The event will be divided into the Industry-Academia-Linked Field Training Career Bridge Day, which supports local university students and young people in finding jobs, and the Wise College Life Financial Academy, which aims to promote sound asset building and improve financial knowledge.
The Industry-Academia-Linked Field Training Career Bridge Day will be held at the Busan Exhibition and Convention Center (BEXCO). It will bring together 20 leading local companies, including Korea Environment Corporation (K-eco), Korea Credit Guarantee Fund (KODIT), Samsung Electro-Mechanics, Renault Korea, Nexen Tire, and Samjin Fish Cake.
Small-group job mentoring sessions will be held for participating students with corporate human resources representatives and current employees. 
The event will also feature capacity-building booths offering application and interview consultations from corporate human resources representatives, profile photo services and retouching, makeup assistance, and personal color analysis to support young people's job searches.
The Wise College Life Financial Academy will then be held on the 30th and October 1 at Pusan National University's 10.16 Memorial Hall and Pukyong National University's university theater, respectively. To improve university students' understanding of practical economics and finance and help them develop sound asset-management habits amid heightened economic volatility, four of South Korea's leading economic and financial experts with significant influence in the media and at the grassroots level will serve as instructors.
Busan Metropolitan City Government plans to conduct an on-site survey using QR codes to collect participating young people's opinions on field training, share the findings with relevant organizations, and reflect them in youth-support policies.
