[Financial News] KT is expanding its 'On-the-Go Customer Listening Forum,' through which it listens directly to subscribers in the field and promptly reflects their feedback in institutional improvements. Following young people, seniors and foreign nationals, KT is now including small business owners to identify improvement measures that subscribers can experience firsthand.
KT said on the 29th that it is continuing to expand the participatory communication program, the 'On-the-Go Customer Listening Forum.'
Since holding its first customer listening forum with young customers in April, KT has expanded participation to seniors in May, customers from remote island and mountain regions in June, foreign customers in July and Generation Z customers in August.
On the 28th, KT held the sixth customer listening forum at the Prep Academy Gongdeok Campus in Seoul's Mapo District and expanded the scope of participants to small business owners. Owners of businesses in various sectors, including restaurants, cafés and unmanned stores, took part and shared their experiences with difficulties encountered while running their businesses, as well as their experiences using digital services.
In particular, KT gathered feedback on inconveniences and areas for improvement identified while using digital solutions in actual business settings, including KT's table-ordering service, Hi-Order. KT plans to have the opinions presented at the forum reviewed by relevant departments and incorporate them into improvement initiatives.
KT is sharing opinions raised at the forums with relevant departments and reviewing the need for and feasibility of implementing improvements. Based on this feedback, the company is pursuing initiatives such as improving the convenience of its membership app and enhancing access to consultations and usage guidance for foreign customers.
KT also incorporated suggestions from the senior customer forum held in May to expand smartphone education. Since August, KT has been piloting digital education programs for seniors twice a month at some KT Plaza locations.
Park Hyun-jin, vice president and head of KT's Customer Division, said, "We will continue listening closely to the voices of diverse customers and reflect them in our services and policies to create changes that customers can experience firsthand."
