Lucid Fall to Perform at Museum on an Autumn Night... National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art to Host 'Prism of the Night'

[Financial News] An event will be held at the museum on an autumn night, featuring music by Lucid Fall and exhibition tours. All admission fees will be used to support art therapy for children.
The National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Korea said on the 29th that '2026 MMCA Night: Prism of the Night' will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. on Oct. 7 at the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Seoul. Sponsored by Shinyoung Securities, it is the second nighttime cultural event organized by the museum this year, following one held in June.
The performances will be held in a standing format in the first-floor lobby. The Lucid Fall Quartet will take the stage for 40 minutes starting at 7 p.m. Lucid Fall, two guitarists and a percussionist will perform folk music together.
From 7:50 to 8:30 p.m., the experimental sound project Setsetset will present an improvisational performance. Participants include Kim Geon-jae, drummer for Silica Gel; jazz drummer Kim Jong-kook; Lee Won-seok, principal timpanist of the KBS Symphony Orchestra; and producer Lee Dong-hyun.
As the Seoul venue will be open at night that day, visitors can view 'Do Ho Suh,' 'This Is (Not) Conceptual Art' and 'Korea Artist Prize 2026' for free from 6 to 9 p.m. The 'Do Ho Suh' exhibition requires a separate reservation.
Exhibition viewing begins one hour before the first performance. Some exhibitions may have waiting lines, so visitors planning to attend both the performances and exhibitions should check the performance schedule and whether an exhibition reservation is required.
Admission is KRW 10,000 per person, and the entire amount will be donated in the participants' names to World Vision's children's art therapy program. Each participant will receive one beverage and a souvenir.
Advance reservations opened at 2 p.m. on the 28th on the museum's website. Both paid and free members may apply, and attendance is limited to 1,000 people. Each person may reserve up to two tickets.
Yoon Tae-wook, acting director of MMCA, said, "This is an opportunity to expand the horizons of the senses through music," adding, "I hope many people will savor the joy of taking a break amid art and joining the donation effort."
