President Lee Jae Myung: "Quoting Someone's Post Does Not Mean Endorsing All of Their Claims"

[Financial News] President Lee Jae Myung emphasized on the 28th, "When I quote someone's post, it does not mean that I agree with all of that person's past claims."
That day, on X (formerly Twitter), Lee quoted a user's critical post that said, "It seems you could figure out what the person whose post is being retweeted thinks by investing just one minute, but since you don't do that, it looks like you're headed for a 20% approval rating," and wrote as follows.
Lee stated, "Talking with someone does not mean that I agree with all of that person's past actions and remarks," adding, "Quoting your post does not mean that I agree with all of your posts."
He also said, "I do not have the time or need to investigate every past post written by the author of something I quote," adding, "We are simply communicating and having a conversation."
Earlier, on the 19th, Lee had also emphasized, amid controversy over the wording and past posts of a particular supporter whose post he quoted, "When I quote someone's post on X, I cannot check the post author's past posts and expressions one by one," adding, "Quoting an anonymous post means quoting the post itself as written; it does not mean supporting, defending, agreeing with, or sympathizing with all of the author's claims and writings."
