Passenger Car Crosses Centerline in No-Left-Turn Zone and Crashes into Bus; Two Elderly Passengers Slightly Injured

[Financial News] A passenger car crossed the centerline while making a left turn at the Sungkyunkwan University Entrance Intersection in Jongno District, Seoul, and crashed into a city bus. Two elderly passengers on the bus were injured.
According to police on the 28th, Seoul Hyehwa Police Station booked and is investigating a man in his 20s identified only as A on suspicion of violating the Act on Special Cases Concerning the Settlement of Traffic Accidents.
A is suspected of crashing into a bus at around 12:30 p.m. that day after crossing the centerline while making a left turn at the Sungkyunkwan University Entrance Intersection in a passenger car. Left turns were not permitted in that section.
Two elderly passengers on the bus sustained minor injuries and were taken to a hospital.
A was found not to have been driving without a license or while intoxicated.
Police plan to investigate the exact circumstances of the accident.
