[Financial News] LS ELECTRIC will participate in a data center exhibition in Singapore, showcasing power infrastructure ranging from ultra-high-voltage transformers and power distribution equipment to direct current (DC) solutions. The company plans to target the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) market based on its business experience in North America and South Korea.
LS ELECTRIC announced on the 28th that it will participate in Data Centre World Asia 2026, which will be held from the 29th to the 30th at the Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre in Singapore. The exhibition booth will cover 90 square meters.
The exhibition will focus on offering an integrated package covering the entire power supply process for data centers. LS ELECTRIC will display ultra-high-voltage transformers, gas-insulated switchgear (GIS), static synchronous compensators (STATCOM), and large-scale battery energy storage systems (BESS).
In the power distribution segment, the company will introduce modular substations supplied as prefabricated, integrated modules combining switchboards and distribution transformers. It will also showcase low-voltage switchboards that deliver power to server racks, remote power panels (RPPs), busways, and data center infrastructure management (DCIM) software.
LS ELECTRIC will also unveil the Cheonan DC Factory case, in which it demonstrated a direct-current distribution manufacturing plant at its Cheonan facility in South Korea, along with operating data. The company plans to attract customers in the ASEAN region by linking its data center business experience in North America and South Korea with production bases in Vietnam and Indonesia.
An LS ELECTRIC official said, "Power infrastructure for data centers is an area that requires advanced technological expertise to meet the demands for both large capacity and stability. LS ELECTRIC will leverage the technological credibility it has built through its global data center business and close coordination with local production bases in Vietnam and Indonesia to become the optimal power partner for global hyperscale data center customers whose needs are rapidly growing across the ASEAN region."
