Incheon Metropolitan City Government Offers Autumn Accommodation Discounts in Second 'Check Incheon' Promotion

【Financial News, Incheon—Reporter Han Gap-su】 Incheon Metropolitan City Government is offering accommodation discounts during the fall travel season to attract more stay-over tourists.
Incheon Metropolitan City Government and the Incheon Tourism Organization announced on the 28th that they will hold the 'Check Incheon Accommodation Promotion' with the travel and leisure platform NOL (Nol Universe) from the 29th through October 16.
The promotion covers accommodations throughout Incheon, including major tourist destinations such as the Incheon Open Port Area, Songdo International City, Incheon’s islands, Yeongjongdo Island, and Cheongna. Customers who reserve and pay for accommodations in Incheon costing at least 50,000 won through the NOL app can receive a 20,000-won discount coupon. NOL’s own discount coupons and special offers can also be applied. Purchased accommodation products can be used through October 31.
During the first promotion held in June, approximately 3,500 discount coupons were used, bringing about 8,500 tourists to Incheon.
A program for travelers with pets will also be offered. The Incheon Tourism Organization will hold a live commerce event on the NOL app at 3 p.m. on October 15 in connection with a pet-friendly accommodation promotion. The event will introduce fall travel content in Incheon, accommodation products that allow pets, and discount benefits.
Through the promotion, Incheon Metropolitan City Government plans to encourage tourists to stay in the area, experience Incheon’s diverse tourism content, and promote stay-over tourism.
Yu Ji-sang, president of the Incheon Tourism Organization, said, "We will continue to pursue accommodation promotions that reflect the seasons and travel trends, promote Incheon’s tourism appeal, and work to revitalize stay-over tourism."
