Korean Dairy Beef Checkoff Management Committee Seeks Participants for 8th National College Student Dairy Beef Cooking Competition

[Financial News] The Korean Dairy Beef Checkoff Management Committee announced on the 28th that it will hold the 8th National College Student Dairy Beef Cooking Competition on November 8 and is recruiting college student participants.
 The National College Student Dairy Beef Cooking Competition is hosted and organized by the Korean Dairy Beef Checkoff and sponsored by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (MAFRA). Held under the theme "Healthy Dairy Beef Recipes Using Our Korean Dairy Beef," the competition was designed to promote the excellence of domestically produced beef, known for its taste and nutritional value, and to discover fresh, practical recipes from college students.
 College students nationwide majoring in food service or food-related fields are eligible to enter the competition. They may participate individually, with one person per team, or as part of a group. Applications will be accepted from today through October 25. Submitted recipes will be evaluated, and finalists will be notified individually and announced on the competition website on October 30. The final round will be held on November 8 at Now Cooking Studio in Seodaemun District, Seoul.
 The grand prize winner will receive the Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs Award and KRW 2 million. Two winners of the top excellence award will receive the Chair of the Korean Dairy Beef Checkoff Management Committee Award and KRW 1 million each. Including the excellence and final-round awards, a total of 20 winners will receive certificates and prize money worth KRW 8.3 million.
