[Financial News] Booyoung Group's Muju Deogyusan Resort announced on the 28th that it will begin its second special-price sale of ski season passes from Oct. 1 through 24. Muju Deogyusan Resort is South Korea's largest ski resort, featuring the country's longest Silk Road slope, which begins at Seolcheongbong, 1,520 meters above sea level, and the Raiders slope, with a maximum gradient of 76%.
According to Booyoung Group on the 28th, the second special-price sale will feature four types of season passes: Muju Integrated Passes I and II, and Muju O2 Integrated Passes I and II. Integrated Pass I allows unlimited use of the ski gondola throughout all operating hours, while Integrated Pass II offers weekday access to the ski resort at a reasonable price.
Booyoung Group said it will offer various discounts during the second special-price period, including family, annual-pass, Muju County resident, college student, previous-year customers who purchased another company's season pass, and senior discounts. Special discounts will also be available for military personnel, police officers, firefighters and their families, recipients of veterans' benefits, persons of national merit, and families recognized for exemplary military service. The family discount applies when three or more season passes are purchased, while customers who purchase one adult season pass will receive one preschool child's season pass free of charge (issuance fee not included). A Muju Deogyusan Resort official said, "This winter season, we will open the Andante slope for expert skiers for the first time in 19 years," adding, "We plan to operate a total of 23 slopes."
