'2026 Korea Bambam Festa' to Be Held in Yeosu on Oct. 3

【Financial News | Yeosu = Hwang Tae-jong, Reporter】The '2026 Korea Bambam Festa Yeosu' will be held from 4 p.m. on Oct. 3 at Ungcheon Beach Park and Jangdo Island Lawn Plaza.
 According to Yeosu, the '2026 Korea Bambam Festa' is a nationwide relay night tourism festival jointly promoted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST) and the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) with 10 'night tourism specialized cities' across the country. This year's festival will be held sequentially in 10 cities under the theme 'Rest on a Midsummer Night: Fill, Empty, and Stay.'
 With KTO overseeing the planning and preparing city-specific programs linked to each city's distinctive night tourism resources, Yeosu will present a multifaceted nighttime cultural program set in spaces connecting the sea and the city center, where visitors can enjoy books, music and films together.
 A Yeosu official said, "It will be a time to create special memories alongside Yeosu's scenery on a cool autumn night," adding, "I hope you will enjoy Yeosu's beautiful night at your leisure with your family, partner or friends."
 Ungcheon Beach Park, the venue for the '2026 Korea Bambam Festa Yeosu,' will feature a 'Book Lounge' based on the concept of an 'outdoor library in the city.' A silent outdoor film screening program called 'Dongbaek Movie Night' and night tourism experience booths will also be operated.
 Jangdo Island Lawn Plaza will host a 'Candlelight Concert' accompanied by thousands of LED candles. Violin and fusion Korean traditional music performances will make the night on Jangdo Island, the island of art, even more romantic.
 Meanwhile, Yeosu was selected in 2024 for the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism's public call for the Night Tourism Specialized City Development Project and is implementing the project through 2027.
