Kim Su-ji Wins Bronze in 1-Meter Springboard, Claims Medals on Consecutive Days [Nagoya AG]

[Financial News] Kim Su-ji (Ulsan Metropolitan Sports Council), a standout in South Korean diving, won medals on consecutive days at the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games. After taking silver in the women’s synchronized 3-meter springboard event the previous day, she added a bronze medal in the individual event.
Kim Su-ji finished third in the women’s 1-meter springboard final at the Tokyo Aquatics Center in Tokyo, Japan, on the 28th, scoring 245.05 points across five dives. Lin Shan won gold with 263.05 points, while Long Yiping took silver with 254.25 points. Both athletes represent China.
Kim Su-ji began the competition with 39.60 points on her first dive, an inward 11⁄2 somersault with a difficulty degree of 2.4. She scored 53.30 points on her second dive, a forward 21⁄2 somersault. She then added 47.15 points on a back 11⁄2 somersault in the third round and 50.40 points on a reverse 11⁄2 somersault in the fourth.
Her highest score of the day came on her final dive. Kim Su-ji earned 54.60 points for a back 11⁄2 somersault with 11⁄2 twists, finishing with a total of 245.05 points.
Kim Su-ji, who won silver in the women’s synchronized 3-meter springboard event with Kim Na-hyun the previous day, added an individual medal just 24 hours later. Kim Na-hyun, who also competed in the women’s 1-meter springboard event, finished fifth with 228.40 points.
