Suncheon City to Hold '2026 Food & Art Festival' on Oct. 16–18; Festival Vouchers to Be Sold in Advance at a Discount

[Financial News | Suncheon = Hwang Tae-jong] Suncheon City will hold the '2026 Suncheon Food & Art Festival' throughout the old downtown area from Oct. 16 to 18.
In particular, festival vouchers will be sold at a 5% discount from the 28th through Oct. 15, the day before the festival opens.
A Suncheon City official explained, "Although festival vouchers can also be purchased on-site during the festival, no discount will be offered, so it is advantageous to buy them in advance."
According to Suncheon City, the vouchers can be used from the 28th through Oct. 25. As in previous years, they will be accepted at all food and experience booths throughout the festival grounds. The entrances of businesses that accept the vouchers will display signs reading 'Voucher-Participating Business,' making them easy for visitors to identify and use.
The vouchers can be used not only at the festival grounds but also at about 230 affiliated businesses throughout the nearby old downtown area.
A Suncheon City official said, "The vouchers are expected to invigorate the local commercial district by allowing people to visit restaurants and shops in the old downtown area at their leisure before and after the festival." The official added, "Please prepare in advance during the presale period, when discounts are available, enjoy the festival, and join us in supporting local businesses through responsible consumption."
