Willow House announced on the 28th that, after focusing this year on promoting the venue and opening its doors, it will expand its programs from the second half of the year so visitors can experience new cultural content and return.
The lineup will include a variety of cultural events, from classical, popular music and traditional Korean music performances to art exhibitions and book concerts.
Before launching its regular programs, Willow House will hold trial performances and exhibitions in the second half of this year. The first event, titled "The Exhibition Hall Where Music Flows," will take place at 6 p.m. on the 28th at the Willow House Pavilion. It was jointly planned by the Dongjak Music Association, ensemble "Cielo" and Savills.
In October, the Dongjak Music Association's "Brastri" brass quintet and ensemble PHASE will perform on the 14th and 20th, respectively. The Dongjak Art Association's 20th-anniversary exhibition will also run from the 28th through November 3.
A Willow House official said, "We are currently engaging with arts-related associations and cultural foundations as we prepare the 2027 cultural program. We will work to establish Willow House as a cultural hub for the local community, where people can enjoy art in their daily lives and continue to return."
The detailed program schedule is available on Willow House's official Instagram account.
