Choi Sang-su, iM Bank Vice President, Appointed 12th Chairman of Daegu Credit Guarantee Foundation

【Financial News Daegu = Kim Jang-wook】Choi Sang-su, vice president of iM Bank, has been appointed the 12th chairman of the Daegu Credit Guarantee Foundation and will lead the foundation for two years starting on the 28th.
The Daegu Credit Guarantee Foundation said it had appointed Choi as its 12th chairman after completing procedures that included an open recruitment and screening process by the executive recommendation committee and the recommendation of a candidate for chairman. His term began on the 28th.
Choi graduated from the Department of Law at Yeungnam University. He joined Daegu Bank, now iM Bank, in 1987 and went on to serve as managing director of the Investment Finance Department and deputy vice president of the Marketing Planning Department. He currently serves as a vice president overseeing institutional business.
Choi emphasized, "I will pursue compassionate, inclusive management that restores a robust financial safety net for small business owners and the self-employed, while also pursuing innovative management to support the discovery of new industries that will shape the region's future." He added, "I will make Korea's leading policy guarantee institution—one trusted by Daegu Metropolitan City, its citizens and businesses—a reality."
