[Financial News] Nonghyup Bank has designated its Mieum Industrial Complex Branch in Busan as its second foreign direct investment (FDI) Specialized Advisory Center. The bank plans to strengthen one-stop financial support for foreign-invested companies in the region, covering everything from filing investment reports to opening accounts and transferring funds.
On the 28th, Nonghyup Bank announced that it had designated the Mieum Industrial Complex Branch in Busan as its second FDI Specialized Advisory Center to provide specialized support for companies located in the Busan-Jinhae Free Economic Zone (BJFEZ) and foreign-invested companies in Busan and South Gyeongsang Province.
The NH FDI Specialized Advisory Center provides foreign investors seeking to make foreign direct investments or invest in domestic securities with specialized one-stop services throughout the investment process. These services include filing investment reports and reviewing relevant regulations, assigning a dedicated relationship manager (RM) to each company, opening accounts, and transferring investment funds.
The center is designed to minimize the administrative burden on foreign-invested companies by strengthening stage-by-stage support for investment reporting, account opening, and foreign-currency fund transfers—procedures that can be challenging because of complex regulations and varied processes.
In December last year, Nonghyup Bank designated the Samseong Station Financial Center in Seoul as its first NH FDI Specialized Advisory Center. The bank plans to expand its FDI Specialized Advisory Centers nationwide, reflecting the industrial characteristics of each region and the financial needs of individual companies, to establish a nationwide support system for foreign investment.
