OKESTRO to Hold VMware Migration Webinar on the 29th, Introducing Operations and Scaling Strategies

[Financial News] OKESTRO will hold an online seminar on the 29th under the theme, "The Success of VMware Migration Hinges on Operations and Scaling."
The seminar is intended for companies and institutions considering migrating their virtualization environments following Broadcom's overhaul of VMware's licensing policy. OKESTRO explained that they need to examine not only the process of moving existing systems but also operational efficiency after migration and the potential for infrastructure expansion.
Seo Young-seok, head of OKESTRO's Tech Sales Division and a vice president, will introduce key considerations for VMware migration and the features of OKESTRO's server virtualization solution, CONTRABASS, during the webinar. The company will also share a customer case in which an organization switched to CONTRABASS after about a year because it faced operational and scaling constraints with another virtualization solution.
According to OKESTRO, CONTRABASS displays incident alerts, recent task history and resource status together, helping operators identify changes made before an incident occurred. It can analyze the causes of performance degradation that are difficult to identify based solely on CPU and memory utilization. When a communication failure occurs, the solution can also identify the physical host connected to the virtual machine (VM), as well as the relevant switch and port.
The webinar will be held free of charge on allshowTV, and participants can join after preregistering.
