[Financial News] As the number of marriages increases, Shinsegae Department Store is introducing an exclusive membership for engaged and newlywed couples.
According to industry sources on the 28th, Shinsegae Department Store will launch the 'WEDDING VOW CLUB.' Customers can join from one year before their scheduled wedding date until six months after the wedding by submitting proof documents, such as a wedding venue contract, through the Shinsegae Department Store app.
Members will receive Sileage benefits totaling 1.2 million won over six months, which can be used when purchasing fashion and accessory products. They will also receive Shinsegae Members Bar beverages and free parking passes.
Members can also receive additional rewards of up to around 1%, depending on their cumulative purchases at the participating store. The rewards amount to up to 1 million won, depending on the store and purchase amount.
They will also be eligible for partnership benefits from around 120 brands. When purchasing wedding-related products, including watches and jewelry, fashion and cosmetics, and home appliances and furniture, members can receive ongoing discounts, complimentary gifts, and engraving services.
In addition to Shinsegae Department Store, the membership also links benefits from Shinsegae International's fashion and beauty brands, Shinsegae Simon Premium Outlets, Shinsegae Duty Free, Shinsegae Casa, and other affiliates.
Lee Seong-hwan, executive director in charge of sales strategy at Shinsegae Department Store, said, "We have newly created this wedding membership so that customers preparing for marriage can enjoy the benefits they need more easily and conveniently. We will offer differentiated wedding benefits that cover a wide range of needs before and after marriage."
