LF Launches British 'Traditional Weatherwear' in Korea for the First Time

[Financial News] LF will officially import and distribute the British weatherwear brand Traditional Weatherwear in Korea.
According to LF on the 28th, Traditional Weatherwear was launched in 1974 by British outerwear brand Mackintosh. Drawing on Mackintosh's expertise in outerwear production, the brand offers practical items designed to withstand various weather conditions, including quilted jackets and rainwear.
Its signature product is a quilted jacket featuring diamond quilting and a water-repellent finish.
Traditional Weatherwear is sold in the United Kingdom and Japan through leading select shops, including BEAMS, United Arrows and Journal Standard.
For the 2026 fall/winter season, LF will offer men's and women's outerwear, including quilted jackets, field jackets and padded items, along with accessories such as umbrellas, scarves and rain boots. Starting next year, it plans to expand the product range to include knitwear, shirts and pants.
Official sales began on LF Mall that day. The company will also operate its first pop-up store at Shinsegae Department Store Gangnam Branch for two weeks starting on the 8th of next month. It plans to expand its pop-up operations to major commercial districts with large populations of customers in their 20s and 30s.
An LF representative said, "In line with the trend toward increasingly segmented consumer preferences, we are continuously discovering global brands with clear identities and differentiated product competitiveness." The representative added, "We will establish Traditional Weatherwear's unique brand value in the Korean market."
