Dong-A Publishing Partners with Teacher Ambassadors to Accelerate Edtech Advancement

[Financial News] Dong-A Publishing announced on the 28th that it is recruiting the 12th Dooclass Runner cohort, a teacher-participation ambassador program designed to advance the content and services of Dooclass, its classroom learning support platform. As competition in edtech intensifies, the company aims to improve the platform by directly incorporating feedback from teachers, its actual users.
The 12th Dooclass Runner cohort is open to elementary, middle and high school teachers. Selected participants will take part in the program for about two months, from November through December. Each month, they will complete assignments that involve applying Dooclass’s various digital content and services directly in their classes before providing feedback on potential improvements. They will also propose new features and content needed in the classroom and share their own know-how on using teaching materials with fellow teachers.
Teachers from the previous 11th Dooclass Runner cohort also expressed high satisfaction with seeing feedback from the field lead to actual platform improvements. They said the assignments gave them useful classroom experience, including ways to incorporate AI-related edtech features into their lessons more easily and exchange ideas with other teachers. Dong-A Publishing plans to provide participants with activity kits, rewards for completing assignments and special benefits for outstanding participants.

Founded in 1945, the company has built a strong presence in educational content and is now focusing on creating personalized learning environments that incorporate advanced AI technologies such as speech recognition (STT), AI tutors and automated feedback. It is also stepping up its transition to a digital education ecosystem encompassing both online and offline learning by linking digital classroom tools, including "Workbook," a Google Add-ons-based teaching tool, and "YES24 e-Library."
