Baedal Minjok to Boost Andong's Neighborhood Commercial Districts with 10,000-Won Pickup Discount

[Financial News] Baedal Minjok is partnering with Andong-si in North Gyeongsang Province to connect visitors to local festivals with neighborhood commercial districts in the old downtown area. The company plans to attract more visitors to local businesses by offering pickup discount coupons that can be used at small-business stores during the festival period.
Woowa Brothers, the operator of Baedal Minjok, announced on the 28th that it would launch a promotion linking local festivals in Andong-si with its pickup service.
Baedal Minjok is participating in the Andong Wondoshim Mask Day Festival, which will be held throughout Andong-si through October 4. The company will provide all users with discount coupons worth up to 10,000 won for pickup orders placed through the promotional page in the Baedal Minjok app.
The coupons can be used at 53 Baedal Minjok-affiliated stores located in major commercial districts in Andong-si, including Andong Jungang New Market, Andong Old Market, Namseo Shopping District, Culture Street and Food Street. Visitors can order local foods such as jjimdak, sliced octopus, salted mackerel and mungtigi for pickup.
Visitors to the pop-up event promoting local specialties operated by Andong-si will also receive Baedal Minjok-branded merchandise, including Mint Bar soap, pens and memo pads. Baedal Minjok expects the promotion to channel festival demand into local neighborhood commercial districts and sales for small businesses.
