Gmarket Expands Free Returns Under 'Kkok Membership' to Include Seller Star Delivery

[Financial News] Gmarket is expanding the free-return benefit offered to 'Kkok Membership' members to include products covered by 'Seller Star Delivery.'
According to Gmarket on the 28th, the free-return service will apply from that day to all products covered by 'Star Delivery,' its arrival-guarantee service. Previously, the benefit was limited to products shipped from the Dongtan Mega Logistics Center and partner fulfillment centers. It will now also cover 'Seller Star Delivery' products, for which sellers directly manage inventory and shipping. As a result, the number of products eligible for free returns will more than double.
Kkok Membership members can use the free-return service up to three times per month per buyer ID. The benefit also applies to returns due to a change of mind, but furniture and fresh food are excluded.
Gmarket will cover the return shipping costs. Sellers can offer customers free returns without any additional setup or fees.
Gmarket plans to continue expanding benefits for Kkok Membership members and strengthen the competitiveness of its Star Delivery service.
A Gmarket representative said, "We are expanding the free-return benefit to make shopping more convenient for customers and support increased sales of Star Delivery products." The representative added, "We expect this expansion to allow Kkok Membership customers to purchase more Star Delivery products with greater peace of mind."
