i-Scream Media Expands Its Reach into Latin America with K-edtech

[Financial News] i-Scream Media is seeking to tap the Latin American market by presenting government and parliamentary officials from Latin America and the Caribbean with a global cooperation model that combines Korea's education growth experience with its own artificial intelligence (AI) education technology.
i-Scream Media announced on the 28th that it had unveiled LumiTeach, a global AI classroom platform developed by consolidating the operational know-how of the Korean digital education platform i-Scream S, at the International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace (IPTP) Latin America and Caribbean Regional Conference held at Paraguay's Congress in Asunción. LumiTeach is an edtech solution that enables teachers to quickly create instructional materials using AI and encourage student participation.
Going beyond simply exporting technology, i-Scream Media emphasized a localization strategy tailored to each country's curriculum, language, and school infrastructure. The company presented the protection of education data sovereignty and the strengthening of local personnel's technical operating capabilities as key principles of cooperation, aiming to lower the practical barriers to adoption in Latin American countries.
Earlier, on the 23rd (local time), i-Scream Media CEO Hyun Jun-woo served as the keynote speaker at the conference and shared Korea's national experience of cultivating talent and achieving economic and social development through sustained investment in education.
CEO Hyun stated, "Even in the AI era, teachers' expertise and judgment must remain at the heart of education," adding, "AI technology is a support tool that helps teachers focus on communicating with and guiding students."
The question-and-answer session that followed the presentation featured an active discussion with Latin American lawmakers and education officials on Korea's education financing structure and priorities for introducing AI education within limited budgets.
CEO Hyun said, "Educational cooperation must begin with the practical needs of each country," adding, "We will actively explore cooperation measures tailored to local conditions, drawing on Korea's education expertise and AI technology."
