[Financial News] Hanwha Asset Management is embarking on a digital transformation across its operations, including investment analysis and sales management, by rolling out its proprietary artificial intelligence (AI) platform company-wide.
Hanwha Asset Management announced on the 28th that it had launched its AI data intelligence platform, 'Odin,' across the company.
Odin is an AI platform built using proprietary technologies and infrastructure based on Claude. It collects and updates daily 60,000 news articles and more than 100,000 research materials, YouTube reports, and domestic and international disclosure documents from more than 300 channels covering politics, economics, culture, society, and technology worldwide.
Its core function is to link and analyze the vast amount of collected data by market and company. The platform classifies data that would be difficult for people to process manually and analyzes trends so the information can be used in investment decisions.
Odin consists of two pillars: 'market intelligence' and 'sales management.' Market intelligence provides AI-generated analysis of stock market conditions and product information, as well as market conditions, news, regulations, and outlooks for specific industries or themes. It also analyzes the level of interest in and momentum behind key keywords across society, the economy, and industries.
The sales management function digitizes business information for each client company to identify changes in areas of interest, demand, and relationships. It brings together information generated through interactions with clients and uses it to develop sales strategies and manage relationships.
For security, the company has also adopted a hybrid structure that combines cloud services with in-house infrastructure. General-purpose data, such as market, news, and research data, is processed in the cloud, while sensitive information, including business secrets, is handled through in-house infrastructure.
Hanwha Asset Management plans to develop Odin into a personalized AI agent for each employee and use it for strategies involving securities and alternative investment products, as well as index development. In the first half of next year, it also plans to launch an 'LP Portal' service that will provide beneficiaries with real-time asset information.
Lim Dong-jun, CEO of Hanwha Asset Management, said, "Odin is not a platform that simply accumulates more information. It is a platform that enables AI to read changes in the market and among customers first and turn them into material for the organization's decision-making," adding, "It will continue to evolve in line with changes in the way we work."
