As talks with Lee ran long... Trump says, "See if you can arrange a golf schedule"

[Financial News] The summit between President Lee Jae Myung and U.S. President Donald Trump on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly reportedly lasted about 30 minutes, considerably longer than the originally scheduled 10 minutes.

Trump reportedly kept the conversation going without interrupting it, extending the meeting on the spot. A Cheong Wa Dae official explained that Trump had allocated the time because he considered dialogue between the U.S. and South Korean leaders important.
A senior Cheong Wa Dae official told reporters on the 26th in Anchorage, Alaska, that the United States and South Korea had initially sought to hold the meeting for 10 minutes starting at 6:50 p.m. on the 22nd (local time). It was scheduled to take place just before a reception hosted by Trump began.
The South Korean side, however, felt that the meeting would be too short and proposed another time slot. The U.S. side then rescheduled it for 7:20 p.m., while the reception was underway. As the meeting continued for 30 minutes until 7:50 p.m., Trump reportedly postponed his reception speech, originally scheduled for 7:30 p.m., to 8 p.m.
During the meeting, a U.S. chief of protocol reportedly tried several times to wrap it up because of Trump's speech schedule. Trump, however, continued the conversation. In particular, the two leaders brought up playing golf at both the beginning and end of the meeting, and Trump reportedly instructed White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles to work out an actual schedule.
When President Trump mentioned playing golf again during the meeting, President Lee responded by suggesting that they play a round during the Group of Twenty (G20) summit in Miami this December. Trump then reportedly told White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, "See if you can arrange a schedule."

An anecdote was also reported about Melania Trump showing consideration for Kim Hye-kyung.
Kim Hye-kyung attended a luncheon for the Fostering the Future Together (FTFT) Coalition hosted by Melania Trump during her U.S. trip. She arrived at around the scheduled time of 12:50 p.m., but Melania Trump and the spouses of other leaders had reportedly arrived earlier.
Melania Trump reportedly marked and left Kim Hye-kyung's place open in the group photo lineup while waiting for about 20 minutes. When Kim arrived, Melania Trump and the other spouses welcomed her and took a photo together. Melania was reported to have said, "South Korea is the first partner to join this coalition and an important and valued partner, so I waited for you."
