Man in His 40s Apprehended After Weapon Threat Near Hangang Park During Chuseok Holiday

[Financial News] A man in his 40s was apprehended by police after causing a disturbance and threatening people with a weapon near Hangang Park on the final day of the Chuseok holiday.
According to police on the 27th, Seoul Yeongdeungpo Police Station apprehended the man, identified only as A, at around 3:45 p.m. that day near Yanghwa Hangang Park in Yeongdeungpo District, Seoul, on suspicion of possessing a weapon in a public place. 
Passersby reportedly took refuge in a nearby cafe after A shouted on the street while holding a weapon.
A tried to enter the cafe, but was unable to do so after the owner locked the door. No further harm was reported.
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
